Judge 1:My favorite little bird. The colors are perfect!! Breeding plummage in full!!!! I would have cropped this picture to capture more of the details of the bird and colors. The orange water takes away from it somewhat. A tough shot to get. Nice capture!! Judge 2:Wow! I guess they are called "painted" for a reason. Compositionally the photographer made a nice improvement when they cropped this. It is perfectly exposed and in focus. The catch light in the bird's eye and the detail in the feathers add interest. The saturation may be a little overdone for reality but it is effective in catching the viewer's interest, and making the viewer study the image more. Judge 3:Stunning light and colors in both subject and reflections. Excellent image.
