OrlandoCameraClub > Perseverance by:Stan Lyzak Judge 1:Nice placement of the colored flag. Overall a very clean technical shot. I would like to know how much John Francis paid you to submit this image? Judge 2:Would a darker sky and tighter crop help give this just the right punch? Judge 3:Nice composition but dark on the bottom of the image. Might try a vertical crop while including the palm tree and flag pole.
OrlandoCameraClub > Downtown Streak by:Rick Blount II Judge 1:These time exposed night shots are usually very interesting, like this one, when they are done right. I like this image because of the…you got it…vibrant lights that give it a visul charge that jumps out at you. The technical aspects of the photo are done right as well because the exposure on the buildings in the background is very good. Judge 2:Unless you were from Orlando, you wouldn't know it's Florida, but technically well done. Judge 3:The light streaks are fun yet distracting to the skyline. The streaks take my eye in one direction while the buildings take me in another. Nice attempt. Try different points of view and different streaks of light for a more complementary image.
OrlandoCameraClub > Lone Sentinel Under a Big Sky by:Alan Dart Judge 1:The original size of this image is smaller than the full screen size I am viewing this at. When I look at this image at a full screen size the image appears out of focus. I don't know if the image is really out of focus or if increasing the size of the image is having a detrimental effect on the resolution. In the future, I suggest submitting your images in no less than 1mb file size. The color balance of this image is done very well. The red light house is dead center which does not visually work unless there are other features in the image that make it symetrically balanced. Judge 2:Really nice exposure. Might try cropping to move the lighthouse off center. Judge 3:Very nice attempt but centering the lighthouse takes away from its impact as there are so many other elements to look at in the image. Try shooting some other angles or cropping with the lighthouse in different positions.
